Jakob is also an educator, training lawyers through the "Trial by Human" platform. His diverse experience includes roles in insurance defense, corporate law, federal prosecution, and ethics advisory. His academic pursuits in psychology, including research at Harvard on lie detection for the CIA, have been instrumental in his trial work, especially in jury profiling. As an entrepreneur, Jakob has been involved in over 10 startups, even leading a company financed by T. Boone Pickens to national prominence. His military service, spanning over two decades in both the Air Force and Army, has given him a wealth of experience, from serving as a medic to a Judge Advocate General.
